Today one of my friends received AOR. His file received 8 Feb 2017

I still not yet received. Anyone link his application before receiving AOR?

what is your visa office? Linking account has nothing to do with receiving AOR. My AOR did not come via my cic account. it came through the email i provided on my application

Linkage your application with the mycic will not effect your AOR at all.

I received an email few minutes after AOR advising that I link my account within 7 days. Today is day 7 and I am still unable to do do. Keep seeing 'file not found'.

I had the same issue earlier. So I use passport information instead of place of birth and managed to find it. Probably the City/town of birth info was not accurate for me.
