Thanks for the insight joms! Unfortunately, I only have a year of experience so medyo hirap makahanap ng job opening na nag a-accept ng ganung level of exp. Btw, do you know any agency that I can check out? May offer sa akin sa KSA Big hospital pero as assistant nurse lang yung item.

If I am on your place, pili nalang ako ng staff nurse ang position na makukuha ko especially if di naman ganun kalaki ang pangangailangan mo in terms of finances. Katwiran ko kasi, as much as possible, I should place myself on my line of work para just in case may malaking pagkakataon ang dumating qualified padin ako.

Joms, I saw in your timeline that you already received your AOR. Congrats! If i may ask, did you only use your 1yr volunteer exp in your application or you had more experience pa aside from that?

Yup, I have years of experience nadin sa pinas and dito sa UAE. Sinama ko lang un volunteer exp ko para simut sarap. hehehe. To preserve transparency nadin about work experience.

Exactly, just like the Philippines which has no security in tenure. Yun nga lang mas masaya sa Pinas.

Yup, exactly. Un lang mas maganda place ito para sa mga taong nagpeprepare financially for personal purposes, sa mga taong gusto na makatulong sa pamilya and ipasyal ang family nila sa ibang bansa. But of course, san man tayu mapunta. There is no place like home. =)

That's what I'm thinking din po. I was offered a staff nurse item also but in a polyclinic. Di na lang dapat ako mapili if I really want to gain experience. I originally planned to stay and work here in the Philippines but no calls so far from the hospitals I've submitted credentials to. So no hope there, unless I have connections from higher ups which I unfortunately don't have. Thanks po! You're a big help. ;D

hello everyone!

Got a little bit confused. Please help. I'm currently working as a Director of Nursing / Chief Nurse since 2007. In my appplication to quebec, i dated my assumption to being the Director of Nursing in the year 2009. I'm still 32 years old and single. Now, for my questions:

1. Am i eligible to apply as skilled worker despite occupying a nursing managerial position in the last 5 years? Though i still indicated in the work experience section of the application form all the positions i assumed prior to being Director of Nursing since my graduation year.

2. Are we going to sign and date all the the pages of the application form? or just those form or declaration that require signature?

1. Yes, you are. As long as you are reach the desired points, there will be no issue at all.

2. Yes, you must sign everything and fill out the date.

Un din ang problema ko nun anjan pa ko sa pinas. Koneksyon. Koneksyon. Hehehe. But I'm so blessed nadin since after ko mapapogi ang credentials by passing the nclex rn, ielts and started my masters degree. Nabigayan ako ng chance maging staff nurse. After ko makakuha ng required experience nagpunta na ako dito. Nakakagulat lang since sa pinas kulang nalang magabang ako ng bulalakaw para mabigyan kng chance makapagvolunteer. Dito sa isang company na alam ko pag makapagpasok ka ng staff nurse may 500 dirhams na commission ka pa. Hehehe. Ganun kakulang ang nurses dito.

Abang abang kalang. Darating din ang para sayo. Wag ka magmadali umalis ng bansa lalo na if wala ka naman masyadong financial issues. And if ever may offer naman sayu especially sa ibang bansa. Research ng mabuti if okay ang company. Mabuti na nagiingat.

Kung gusto mo ng list ng maganda agencies jan sa pinas. Pm ko sayu.

I personally suggest you apply to FSW 2014. There is an NOC code especially for you which is 0311 Managers in health care. The opportunity is better for you there.
