Congratulations robinswalt! Good sign yan! Anong date nakalagay sa letter mo? Update mo na profile mo. :)

wala nmang paper reqt as to what size..whats important is that its clean, readable, and completely and accurately filled. I sent mine using DHL..I am able to track my docs thru their website and they will give you update by e-mail or sms where on earth your documents is in..when it reached its destination, I am able to see also the signature of the receiving person. (cost:1,200 pesos delivered within 3 days)...it doesn't matter what courier company you will use. the important thing is to reached its destination and be received on time..you may also try fedex, 2go, UPS, etc..lol
Pag mga documents na ganyan ONLY trust well-known courier services. Wag ka na magsugal sa iba diyan na parang kanta yung serbisyo nila ("We like to move it"). :)

Thank you po! I am thinking nga na hindi na ituloy yung service nila kasi 50k sinisingil nila sakin tapos imbes na iffollow up nila papers ko ako pa nagfollow up sakanila..but i already gave a downpayment of 10k.
Immigration should be taken seriously kaya you really have to put time and effort in understanding the whole process. You could change the lives of your next generation. :) #JustSharing

Hi guys, I am new here. I would like to ask any of you guys on how to start processing an application for Quebec? Am I too late? Im aware na until march 2014 lng to. If I could still try my luck, what would be the first step. I haven't taken ielts yet.

I also tried online assessment through canadavisa.com, and after a month I received a response from them na Im eligible daw and that I could start processing my application.

It is also stated in the email I need to pay for $ 3490 but staggard ang payment to 4 payments.

this is from the email I received from canadavisa.com:

Attorney David Cohen is ready to begin preparing your application for the current Quebec Skilled Worker program.

As for the costs involved, The Attorney Fees for Attorney David Cohen to represent you throughout the process total 3490 US and are divided into four installments:

1st Payment: 900 US 2nd Payment: 995 US 3rd Payment: 995 US 4th Payment: 600 US

These fees do not include Canadian Government fees. They are as follows (in Canadian dollars):
1- Quebec Government Application fees (on day of Quebec application submission) are: 754 (principal applicant) + 160 (spouse) + 160 (each child)
2 - The Federal application fees (on day of Federal application submission) are: 550 (principal applicant) + 550 (Spouse) + 150 (each child)
3- Canadian Government Final Fees (after approval at end of process) are: 490 (principal applicant) + 490 (spouse) + 0 (each child)

please anyone, advise me on what will be my next move. Do I need to pay that amount or is there another way?

thank you in advance.

It's up to you if you will use an immigration firm to represent you for your Quebec process. Siyempre, it comes with a price. :)

Hello po sa lahat! I just bumped into this forum and decided to register since I noticed very helpful po ang mga users dito.

Anyways, I am planning to apply for Quebec Skilled Worker Program. I'm 25 years old and has been working as a staff nurse for over 3 years now. I have already taken the IELTS exam in 2013 but I'm not really sure if it's accepted since I took the Academic. My scores are the ff: Listening-7.5 Reading-8.5 Speaking-7.5 Writing-6.5 with an Overall Band Score of 7.5.

D parin po ako panatag because sa mga sites/forums na napuntahan ko, halos lahat po nagsasabi na dapat General IELTS lang ang accepted if someone is applying for an Immigrant in Canada and all those who have submitted an Academic IELTS will be returned. I'm worried because nakabayad na po kasi ako ng down payment and if it's true na General lang talaga ang pwede, I'm more than willing to take the test again asap.

What's the truth behind this po? :-[ Can someone please help shed light?

Edit: One more thing,I just recently found out that my employer failed to deduct anything for SSS so wla po ako SSS contribution. What should I do? :(
Did your employer ask for your SSS number when they hired you? If they did dapat nagreremit sila ng contri mo. My advice, seek help from SSS regarding your case para alam mo ang options mo. Do this not only for your canada app but also for your right as an employee.

Check your payslip if may sss contributions. You can use that as proof that your employer is paying for you.

Ok na yan. There are other members here who went to BIR and asked for a letter showing the law/reasons on why you are not receiving tax. Try to back read a couple of pages.
