If it's about getting the CSQ for non priority applicants, i would say the 24-30 months timeframe could be true base na rin sa mga members dito. But i think for priority applicants, siguro the 24-30 months will be the timeframe from submitting the application to getting the visa (given na complete and walang sabit ang papers). Hoping to meet you guys there one day. Wag ka sana mawala sa forum especially pag medyo na busy ka na sa work there baka makalimutan mo na ang forum :D
Wife ko ang main applicant - nurse sya. Ako (programmer) damay lang sa application :)

really it's true. Just yesterday afternoonmy husband call the immigration in quebec asking if how long will it take for the CSQ after the file no. She answer it 3 yrs. Im really shock don't know what to do next. Even he is a nurse it should be prioritize. It was so disgusting.

it's real!!! CSQ applicants attention. Try to call & inquire about the waiting time for CSQ. You can reach this no. +15148649191 then press 9 then 1, then 1 just follow the instruction. Better for us to know why our applications will take that long.

Ano pala AOT mo? Kasi i know some members here na di priority ang file umaabot talaga ng 2-3 yrs ang waiting time for the CSQ but this may not be true to priority applicants....magandang halimbawa si ConradFael. Anyway, as long as may pinagkakaabalahan ka while waiting...then let's just keep on praying na rin ;)
Magandang halimbawa pala ako ;)

Pwede ba malaman why it took so much time sa federal stage? Kasi sa website ang processing time sa federal stage sa Manila Visa Office is 7 months lang? Para naman ma avoid namin yung cause of delay if it's our turn for the federal stage :)
Nagtagal ako sa case manager ko. Parang di nya inasikaso yung file ko so I complained... Hayun I was able to submit my application ng february... tapos parang silence tapos June ata yung MR namin tapos silence...

Yes I'm a nurse. Mahirap maghanap dito ng work if you dont know any French. Kaya I enrolled for a Full time French course pero wala pa akong feedback kung kailan ako pwede magstart. I'm just waiting. I'm also waiting for OIIQ to have their say on my application so while doing that I'm learning french on my own and getting adjusted to the place. Di ako nagmamadali since mag 1 month palang naman ako dito. There's a time for everything and I know all things will fall in its own proper time. I'm sure most of you are dismayed, disgusted and depressed upon learning the waiting time. Ayaw ko kayong paasahin sa sasabihin ko but I also want to lift your spirits up. During my time when I applied, I was told to wait for 4-6 months for my AOR. I got it after 2 months. I was told to wait for 8 to 10 months to be scheduled for interview. I had a schedule after 3 months. So guys hang on and pray. Keep the faith!

Hi Roent! I hope you wont get offended pero can I ask you to please type in full letters. I'm not against text typing kasi I do that too when I send sms pero dito kasi sa forum, mas okay if we type in full. There is enough space naman eh. Wag ka sanang magalit ha. I usually discourage this kasi baka sumunod din yung iba and you know naman dito sa forum tulungan tayo eh baka di ko makuha yung pinakagist ng message kung super short cut ang dating. We will understand you better and clearer if we type the whole word. Thank you for your cooperation. Don't hesitate to ask and we will help as much as we can.

If we're not successful in quebec pwede ba tyo lumabas dyn or transfer to another province? Paano tyo mg survive dyn kng hirap ang worj? Mauubos dn dala ntin. Thanks for the info sir conradfael. It's really a great help for us at least ung mga post mo so inspiring parang hopeful na nman kmi sa application nmin. Sir mura ba dyan compared sa other province ng canada ksi sa federal skilled nas mlaki show money compared to Quebec.

People in Canada transfer to other provinces for many reasons. Some do because of the weather, some because of lower taxes in some provinces.

Ideally, once you get PR, you can transfer to any province you desire but if you applied for a PNP (including QSW) to a specific province, I suggest staying with the applied province until you get citizen status. If you transfer while on a PR status from PNP, you will be questioned with that decision when you're applying for citizenship and could possibly be denied.

They say that it takes 3-5 years to be fully comfortable with a new country. By this time, you should be adjusted with the language and the culture. And most likely, by this time, you are already eligible to apply for citizenship.
