Quebec IMP+ (International Mobility Program) - Open Work Permit (After CSQ)

Hi All,

I wanted to share my PMI+ open work permit timeline to get more info about this process out there. Please note I'm not adding the days I sent through the requested documents, I sent them immediately like 2-3 days after the requests came in.

I am currently based in West Africa, and applied from here, but I'm not originally from here.

Furthermore I have an accompanying minor and their study permit was only processed after my visa was approved despite both applications being submitted at the same time, theirs was approved 2 weeks after mine.


Received CSQ: 03 May 2024
Submitted PR Application: 12 August 2024

Received PMI+ Letter: 14 August 2024

Submitted Open Work Permit: 16 August 2024
Biometrics Request: 17 August 2024
Background Check Completed: 27 November 2024
Medical Report Request: 10 December 2024
Final Decision Received (Approval): 19 December 2024

Hello everyone,

I applied through Arrima, I got my CSQ and PMI+ invitation letter.
Sadly, I haven't found enough information regarding the IMP+, there are no previous experiences or shared information.

My question is simple: Has anyone reached Canada through the IMP+ (After CSQ, outland). If yes, please share the timeline.
Appreciate any information on the flow and how much it takes or what would they ask for next.

I received the CSQ and PMI+ in 2022.
I applied for the Open Work Permit through PMI+ and got the confirmation from IRCC on 4 December 2022.
Biometrics completed on 6 December 2022.
No update after.


ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.

Brothers, can you please guide how to get PMI+ invitation letter, I already have a valid CSQ that I received last year and I am not in Canada anymore.

I don't know how to get a PMI+ invitation letter. Thank you.
