Sorry i'm sure this is the wrong section, i can't find it but please help! Me and my husband live in Northern Ireland. I am british and he is albanian. We went to a work abroad expo yesterday and the representative of goldman associates said we would have to go through the Quebec route, i am just about to graduate from uni with French and Business and my husband has no qualifications whatsoever.
However, can someone explain to me, once we apply for our certificat du selection from quebec, can we go and work in quebec? or do we have to just stay here and apply for permanent residence with that certificate? so basically what does the certificat entitle us to do? and am I right in saying we need to show around 2,600 pounds as proof of funds for 3 months?
This year my husband can apply for naturalisation in britain and get a passport, hence allowing us to travel to canada without visitor visa etc. so i don't know whether or not to do that or just try for canadian work visas directly before that.
Thankyou for taking the time to read this, Tinibee
