Hi Everyone,

I am in my final stages of completing my application for Quebec, I am only missing the family record book, as I am married. I do not know how I can get one. I don't have any kids yet,and my government does not issue one here. Is it an absolute requirement to submit the family record book?

Thank you and good luck with all your applications.

if u do not have any kid so just fill up the application and send it w/ ur mariage certificate and if necessary include an explanation letter that u do not have one.
make sure u don't leave spaces unfilled!!! if it doesn't concern u just put Not Applicable (N/A).

Per my lawyer, I had provided them my marriage certificate. I was never asked for the family record book.

Hi All,

It is rather unfortunate to inform you that if you have submitted your application to Quebec and you have not yet been called for an interview nor have got the final decision yet, your application will be processed according to the new rules in effect since August 1st, 2013, no matter when you submitted your application.

Please check this FAQ, specifically answer No. 1
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/informations/questions-answers.html#august

Also, please help us to send a complaint to the Minister of Immigration by using the link below, you can send the complaint in either English or French,

Many thanks guys!
