Guys can anybody tell me the difference between last year rules and this year rules for Quebec PR, some people telling that who got B2 level French can only apply for Quebec and who don't have B2 level are only allowed to file the application after September 2014, is it true?

I have A2 level I am getting points for eligibility, I am married so getting points from wife and kids, can I drop the application now

The quebec administration website only informs about the need of only one language proficiency test result, then where is this new matter of french language B2 matter emerged from??? :'( :'(

Hi,
The Quebec province has recognized french language as an official language however english language can not be overlooked as well. They award you 16 points as a principle applicant on french language threshold where as only 6 points for english language. You may not require points for french language if you meet the selection criteria from the rest factors such as age,AOT,experience, education, kids and IELTS. Importantly, the website you have consulted is wrong.

Hi there,
You can apply and get selected without french if you are sure that you have sufficient points under selection criteria designed by Quebec Skilled Worker. If you really want to integrate in Quebec community french language is must.
