As i told u in 2004 i already gave you the link that they finalized more than 6000 visas. This year only 1800. These links are from CIC WEBSITE.

This week has witnessed many visas which may be an indication of lesser workload.

Let us cross our fingers.

Guys! Nab, Suheilo, Sebastian... The reason of latency of visa issuance for us is obviously the csq renewal... fa ma hada ye3tal ham... kello rah yekhod khbez!

As I recall, I received the CSQ's hard copy around mid February, I sent it to the Bucharest visa office on February 22, it was delivered on the 24th and I received the PPR on March 5th...

Once you receive the CSQ and decide to send a copy to the visa office, include a letter with it, it's your only chance to explain the situation and it'll be taken into consideration.

at least try to get the pr card . Then you will have period of 2 years to take decision if you want to leave to canada. I understand you lemans , the situation when you applied and started the process isnt the same now. dont forget that 4.5 years are passed in waiting.

Cause you started entering danger zone, it is the last month for you 11 months, or remedical waiting till next year,it means kelna remedical But I hope not!

Dear friends,
I've been reading this forum since a while, i received a week ago from bucharest an email asking to update my applications and go for medical exam. I realised also that my csq has expired a year ago, so i have 2 questions:
1. Should i do anything to renew my csq or it will be automatically renewed?
2. Has anyone received a mail asking to update documents and go for medical exam? I found the mail somehow strange, if anyone received it i would be thankful if he can post it's contents to compare it to mine.

dear friends...I always read the useful posts that you share, I done my landing in Nov 2013 but my visa office was Beirut since my CSQ is Sept 2009.

I decided to register share with you some information before I sleep. If you see my username you will understand what does it mean.

you make plan to come here to take the passport and leave and consider waiting 2 years jobless, so bring money with you. its very expensive city
finding job is not easy at all, even if you decide to wash dishes you have to spend 4 hours in lane to apply for this position.

Canada is exactly like Lebanon, old houses, and buildings, short buildings, even downtown in Beirut is very nice. roads and bridges are too old..
but jobless in Canada better than jobless in Lebanon... I still have 29 months to apply for passport ;D and spending my savings

I am studying masters in engineering in McGill university

What I got was the medical email + the below email

Dans l’intérêt d’une meilleure distribution de la charge de travail, Citoyenneté et Immigration Canada a transféré votre demande de résidence permanente à notre bureau pour poursuivre le traitement.



Votre numéro de dossier a été changé au numéro de référence indiqué ci-haut. Assurez-vous de toujours indiqué votre numéro de dossier sur toute correspondance que vous aurez avec notre bureau. Votre demande sera traitée en fonction de la date initiale de réception. Ce transfert ne causera pas de délai supplémentaire. Si une entrevue est requise, votre dossier sera retourné à la Section d’immigration de l’ambassade du Canada à Beyrouth ou l’entrevue aura lieu.
