lets to tell u mabrook coz i would like to tell u something u and all in this forum in order to know what it means,i know someone from one month and a half,they request from her the copy of passport and passport her husband,she sent them this copy,then they sent her the golden email for passport request after 2 weeks,only 2 weeks
i tell u this story mshan ta3rfo sho ma3nha hal kalam ,tab3an hada shi hie alteli eah bil 7aref wa7ed and now she will travel to canada soon

my passport did expire last year and got renewed, i think this is just another document update by the looks of it

Hey guys,

I am hoping someone who is in contact with an immigration lawyer could help me out with something. Now that I have my PR card, if I want to settle down in a city outside of Quebec, could that possibly create any kind of trouble for me in the future when applying for citizenship or something, since I applied through Quebec and had chosen Montreal as my intended city to settle down in?

In my line of work (cinema & television), there are much more and much better carreer opportunities for me in Toronto than in Montreal, so I am thinking of settling down there instead. I just don't want to get into trouble for it.

An answer from someone who actually has accurate info on the subject would be much appreciated.

Congratulations man, let me disagree with you, this is not another update of documents but it's the final stage, when asking about the expired passport this mean that the visa is ready to be placed the only one concern is "maybe" the new passport number/name or any other minor detail that could deffer of what in the visa.

I asked this question to David Cohen, and they replied they can't help in this matter. But you're right about Vancouver, since a lot of Hollywood movies are filmed there.
