When you get the visa, come to Canada,, I am just telling you to prepare yourself before coming and bring with you a big amount of money until you find an entry level position job, and then you may find a job with your field of study ......

It depends the big amouts of money on your situation, if you're married, have kids, can't live without a car or arguileh, you smoke or not ...don't mind sharing house, have connection, so you can find job easily or not !

And don't ever forget to do check up for all of your teeth and make them .... one single tooth will cost you here 3500$ .... So, it's up to you the big amounts of money and you can imagine ....
I think it's no less than 10~15 grand for the beginning to be at the safe side.

Hey guys
how are you all ? Hopefully, you will be in Canada soon, it's minus 20 here and it's not easy at all to have a job here....

But still better than Lebanon .... Everything here needs time and patience ...
wish you all the best of luck and in the early 2014 all of you will be in Canada...

I just have an advice for who has a good and well paid job, try to never lose it for short term.
Hello

Thank you you very much for your advice, i would like to ask you a question:at your opinion , which city is better for a start (single man) : Quebec, Montérégie...or Montreal ?

without any doubts ..... quebec city is the best city ever in Quebec ... Plenty of jobs and better standard life of living .... But you should be very good in french to live there ...

If my french will be fluent,.I will never live in a place other than.quebec city if I am going to live in Quebec province .... About Montérégie, I don't have any idea about it ...

it's a hard question ,,,, i can't give you the right answer because, there are temporary expenses and permanent expenses .... After you furnish your house,,, and buy a car ...
you need no less than 650 house rental plus energy+ 77$ monthly transport+ 52$ cellular+ 60$ wireless internet... 500$ food,.oil and other expenses. It 's about 1300$ .

Quebec City and the surrounding region boast a robust economy, a very low unemployment rate and an outstanding work environment. According to recent projections by Employment Quebec, approximately 70,000 positions will have to be filled in the region over the next five years.

Another lovely question ( i bother ...i know :-X): how much it coast to furnish an house for a single man ( i will be always single)?

Also, to buy a moderate 4*4 car which could save me in the snow?

one Last question (i promise): is it so hard to adapt with cold in general ?

Thank for your patience

dear after landing in quebec, you will be a canadian permanent resident ... you can move to anywhere in canada ...

I think you can get a financial assistance after 3 months from landing .... as there is a financial contract in your CSQ that you can cover yourself and your family for the first 3 months

here furnitures are cheap ... and cars as well are very cheap ... but 4 wheels for snow will cost you 870$ ...

Quebec city is colder than montreal ... today it was in montreal minus 21 .. Feels like -28 ............ My finger got frozen .. i stayed almost one hour warming up.... but usually, the cold is bearable and endurable ... and you will get to used to it very fast :)
