good morning everyone

first i wish everyone get their PPR very soon, but i want mine to take more time.
like all of u ,it has been more than 3 years since i started this immigration procedure.
my plans changed and i cannot leave for good even if i got the PPR today, what i will do is go get the permanent resident and come back. i know i need to stay 2 years minimum inorder to renew my permanent resident but i may not be able to stay all that long.

can you tell me what u think guys and ladies, whats the best scenario .

as I told you, you have about 1 year to land b4 meds expire. then you can land and stay in Lebanon 3 years within 1st 5 years,

tayib and what is better, stay in quebec shi 2.5 month ( i may lose my work ) till i get the PR ,or i come back and let them send it to my friend at quebec and then he brings it to me when he comes to lebanon.

Not bad to live your life normally, because no body can confirm that we will have our visas before 2 years from now!! weirdo immigration system sometimes made people retake their medicals twice and still waiting!
there are always ways to work out your business in lebanon while you are maintaining your PR in canada..

6 monthes to get the PR card and to whom who wants to say anything
yesterday my cousin his name is tony told me and hes in the OTTAWA OFFICE

YOU NEED NOW 6 MONTHES TO GET YOUR PR LAST MONTH KEN BADDAK 25 DAYS TO MAKE LANDING AND GET pr card
now 6 monthes

from my friend experience i can tell:it's possible that you can do all the process when you arrive and you can mention your friend adress, after that they will send it by normal mail to the mentioned adress and he can provide it to you once he come to Lebanon, and in worse case scenario you can pay him the ticket to give you the PR.

Here's what the mp's office told me yesterday, not much of an update since I already know these info:

The mp's office received an update from CIC and they have said the background check is not completed yet. Another agency is doing that so it is difficult to give a precise timeline though the "expectation is not a long time".

Once the background check is complete, the Visa office will deal with Immigration Quebec...

That's all I got. I guess things will stall till the beginning of 2014

from my friend experience i can tell:it's possible that you can do all the process when you arrive and you can mention your friend adress, after that they will send it by normal mail to the mentioned address and he can provide it to you once he come to Lebanon, and in worse case scenario you can pay him the ticket to give you the PR.

if the 6 months waiting time is official then for sure i will give them the address of my friend.

Have they at least started the background check? I think they mean security check....since the background check should have been done by Quebec before the csq.
