do we count from the day the cheque was cashed and the documents were received...or do we count after the "60" day period to send in the documents has elapsed?

As soon as it shows "medical received" they start the process until it shows "decision made"

do you think there's a chance they refuse someone? Or is it as long as the medicals are good and the security checks are good it's almost guaranteed?

They just ask for updated docs to see the last job, location, travel history and criminal record.
Issuing the medical means it's the final step, you're paying the right for permanent residence fee too :)
I'm not going to say that refusal is out of the question but there's a smallllll chance for it, of course if the person committed something since he/she applied for federal, or if there's a health problem

It will be over for sure but it all depends on the backlogs, they either know how to control them or let them overstock

I don't think they will let them overstock more than it is now. They have to find a solution...it also depends on the quotas of how many people they let in per year.

I have read somewhere that bucharest vo has more than 2000 cap PR visas a year, so obviously they can handle heavy work..

I used it in the past, but no one updates their profiles, so it's hard to really track the progress.

hi, kamen a question, :)
they asked for the fees:
Le règlement des frais relatifs au droit de résidence permanente (FDRP) . Vous devez payer ces frais en dollars canadiens. Vous trouverez les instructions à savoir comment procéder au paiement de ces frais en dollars canadiens sur le site :
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/lebanon-liban/visas/fees-frais.aspx?lang=fra

that means only the FDRP , or FDRP with processing fees of my new born ( 150 cad) ?

The fdrp doesn't include the dependent

Hi Seniors,
I have just got file number and it starts from HA000.... Can we get to know anything by file no. like it is treated as priority or not...

Also do they verify by calling the company where we are working presently? Do any one have heard or experience such thing?

Do anyone know what are the chances of getting rejected after getting file no.
After getting file no. if they find any missing documents related to education or anything then do they reject file or they will ask for it?

Janki

Hi. Another question related to my file.
My passport will expire in 2014 Feb.
Should i make a new passport now and send the new passport number and info?
Or keep the old one?
I'm asking because i read in here that the visa will last to the expiry date of passport or one year after medical. Or what comes first.
What's Your opinion ? Thanks.
