Yes exactly, I guess May will be our lucky month hopefully and if everything goes well then by August everything will be finalized... Let's hope they really stick to what they mention on their website...

Does anyone know what it shows on the e-cas when the medical exams are issued? Does it change from "in process" to another status? Another thing, any idea how long it takes from the VO viewing file until the medical exams are issued?

I think the next time you see a change in status on e-case it will "decision made". I don't think the status changes for medical exams.

Good to know! Thanks.

Should I use the same uci used in my visitor visa application on the immigration application? I think it's one ID for all the applications

when medical exam is requested, the e-cas will remain the same " in process". But 2 ~3 months after medical when they complete the final review the e-cas will be changed to " medical results have been received" and then after fews days they request at final stage the ppr. When visa will be stamped the e-cas will be changed to " decision made" and after landing the e-cas will show " completed".
Usually, when reviewing the file, they will request updating information, police certificates and medicals. Or the medicals would be requested in less than 2 months after reviewing the file.
Hopefully, 2013 will be our landing year. Finger crossed!!

mY E-CAS didn't update when i sent my medicals, it is still unchanged until now after 13 months ;)

If only we'd know the period between the VO seeing the file and issuing the medical exam. It shouldn't take more than 2 weeks right? Or maybe a couple of days?

The VO will see my file on April 22nd and cic asked me to contact them if I don't hear anything by mid May...

Hi guys, how was the weekend? Another week is on the run so hopefully we'll hear some good news. Today I received my second visit visa, took'em 7 days to process it in Riyadh. It's not as exciting as the "real" visa we're all aiming for, but still, I know where I'll be spending the summer vacation :D 1 week left until the VO reviews my file...

so your visa office is abu dhabi
ooppps why your medical late, I heard people are getting medical in uae within 8 months

The visa office for my immigration file is Damascus, I applied there even though I am residing in Saudi Arabia, anyways it is too late to transfer the file since everything is at the final stage. I only apply for visit visas from Saudi Arabia.
