I applied to CSQ in dec 2011 and ecas shows in process.. there is no guidelines they follow, they kind of working by the flow of files and nothing by order..

File received means they received it and submit all documents and entered to the system
Start processing means they start work on your file

but its not fair to prioritize some file on the good of others! the should enter the data by order of any criteria that respect the time of waiting! how come in hadan akhad csq in 2011 per example, was entered to the system before anyone earlier! its a discrimination!

I read that

Once you file is transferred to VO they start secuirty check and background, and they start meds.
once they file is complete meds and seciruty they put in process,

considering the above statement is true, does the process of checking papers and refrences need 10 weeks to be accomplished!?

nothing can be applied on bucarest, the cases are different
you files transferred from vo to vo to vo (WORLD TOUR)

When I called CIC to see if I can carry someone's PR card with me, the excuse I gave the operator is that "my cousin needs to give 3 months notice to quit his job". The response I received is "What would happen if he just quits on the spot? he's leaving the country anyway" (in a rude tone)...so I told the operator "well he wants to leave on a good note".....moral of the story is they don't care, they won't extend your visa.
