Quebec 2011 Applicants Damascus Visa office

Hello Everybody,

I thought a place is needed for applicants who have already applied or planning to apply for Quebec Skilled Worker program in 2011 to share their progress and experience

Especially now that Quebec office in Damascus is closed, old applications transferred to their new office " Direction de l'immigration économique – Moyen-Orient" in Montreal, and any new applications should be send there.

I'm Lebanese and already submitted my application to Damascus office by hand on March 2011. I received my AOR after 4 months dated 13th June 2011.

Dear All,

It's almost 24 months when I applied for the CSQ (MAY 2011),and I received the confirmation of the opening of the file by Aug 2011.

I'm worried since it seems it's taking too long time nowadays, if anybody can help me or he is in the same situation can tell me if I should not be worry?
Can I contact the immigration department, if yes please need the contacts details.

The problem that the total process now it will take more than five years especially the processing time for the federal application it's taking 37 months.

I applied to DAmascus office on April 2011
I had my CSQ last month from Canadian embassy in LEbanon..
It is written that the federal process time is 47 months for Amman office ???
