Quebec 2010 Applicants Damasucs Visa office

Hi Kia / Shahi / all,

We have received our interview confirmation letter (By Fax) after 5 months from the AOR and after 3 months from the second AOR (The letter stating that we are eligible and waiting list for interview).

Our details:

- My Girlfriend (De Facto Spouse) is Principal Applicant, she is European and holder of Bachelor Degree as Languages Teacher (Englis & French), her experience for last 3 years in Qatar as Procurement.

- I am accompaniying De Facto Spouse, holder of Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering, got 6 years experience in Qatar as Admin & HR Manager.

Where am I going to classify our selves from NOC Code pointview, I have no Idea.......

But i beleive that the main reason of calling us for interview on time, that we have submitted an exclusine file (All requirements were there and left noting missing).

yup i think if we submit all documents in a file..we ordered and having all the documents as stated in the list then processing can be pretty fast. good luck n keep us posted..

angeleye whats your application time lines? dont worry they are really busy in these days seems universe is moving through this embassy ;) may be you can follow the way mef was going through to ask an interview date from them i think that job titles or NOC codes may affect the interview date

whats you noc code? you and mef who the main applicant in his case is his de facto spouse are the only people in the thread who have received the interview date so may be the noc code affects the priorities for interview

@ Kia: I applied on 19th April, to Hong kong visa office, and got the AOR on 21st April (Tooooo fast), after that didnt get anything from them. also can you please tell how u determined ur NOC? that webpage u shared is unavailable.

@ shahi & all: as i told i wrote to them and they said its under processing, should i write to them again asking abt interview date or not? please advice. i wrote to them abt 2 weeks back.
 
@angeleye..bro dont write to them now...just wait for a while...may be write again next month..but wait till then..i know waiting is tough but it will be over soon...Good luck!

the last letter i have received in april 28 says: your file is under study and thats it!

until now nor candidacy letter neither interview date i have received

Folks,

48 days to go for my interview................ can't wait, i have creayed excell calendar and monitoring it every day by deleting 1 day every day.....

11th October is way far...... but days are passing so slowly....

Any one got interview confirmation yet? please share...........

Hey Guys,

I am not sure if any of you could help t answer this question:

I am Jordanian Living & Working in QATAR, My De Facto Spouse in Romanian and living a7 working with me as well, after getting the CSQ, We have to apply to Abu Dhabi for PR, They are asking for:

5. POLICE CERTIFICATE (FOR APPLICANTS 18 AND OVER)
Valid Original Police Clearance Certificate issued by the competent authority of any
country where you have resided for more than 6 months since your 18th birthday.

is it including my Home country & Qatar? or just Qatar Police Clearance?

Just as a brain storming not necessarily as a guide lets say as follows:

1. why they ask this? to get sure you do not have any criminal records
2. where normally criminal records are collected? the country which your passports and IDs are issued in.
3. if you have any criminal activities in Quatar what happens? I dont know! guess, but they may deport you in serious cases or court takes place in Qatar ?! you will be my cousins are Qatarians but i am not sure they can help you in this specific questions since they have left to england and france for a while!

What would i do if I were you? proceed with my police certificate from Jordan RIGHT NOW and also would try to see if Qatar police will issue any for foreign residences if yes ok if no send an mail to embassy, if i didnt receive any reply until interview data i would bring a copy of this email with jordans police certificate to interview so you can explain everything depends on sufficient documentations to the officer.
