M also 2011 applicant. Applied in march got aor in july.
I declared my french level to be beginner for me n my wife.we r a family of 5.
One strange thing with my file is I never got file number n ionly received reference individual. I mailed them a year back regarding this n i asked them my file number so that i can update my french results. they said we have received/opened your file etc etc. N again no file no. Only reference individual. We sent our tcfq result on that. After that no correspondence
any ideas what to expect?n when?

Just a lil point to ponder that God certainly has better plans for us.either with it or without it.pray, work hard n be a kind soul. God will b with you.

you received one letter and one payment receipt check your file number may be on your payment receipt.

For me tcfq was a1 listening n didn't pass spoken(could have got a1 certainly but too much work pressure). For my wife a2/a2.
For sure our french is quite basic. Its really difficult to practice french when u r not in a french environment. N to to keep oneself focused when it takes nearly 3+ years for csq. If we get csq fast there is some motivation for learning. Otherwise its too long to keep yourself focused with busy schedule.

when did you submit your CSQ application, from Dubai Damascus applicants mine took 32 months.
but listen all my interview was French. no English at all.

If they could also give us areason to study french. If they could first accept
our applucation based on our qualifications n then give us a years time to reach b2/b2.and then give csq.
we will also have a reason n dedication to study french.
Otherwise the uncertainty never allows one to study hard.
I will definitely start practicing french but I think only when some deadline is there.

Should I expect interview early next year?

Hey Guys .. just as an update ..
I sent on Monday my new address as well as my TCFQ original results (B2/B1) to Montreal via aramex ..
Now the papers are in UK and by tomorrow they will be in Montreal ..
After that I'll start each day to call them and check my file as well as my interview date ...
God be with US fellas ..
I saw also all the previous comments on this new situation, and I already had my BAD comment few pages behind ;D
I won't change anything or even update my TCFQ results! If they find that my file is missing something they'll request than another updates from me ..
Until then .. F*** Them .
Sorry about the BAD language friends, but I'm sooo irritating by their rules, their unfairness, their Delay, their backlog, their updates and I had enough from them ... Point a la ligne
