Thanks Ricoluna,

No, I didn't send any results for French exam yet, but I'm still studding.
Well, about my French level, right now both me & my wife in (A2+), we will finish it by the end of this month, then we'll start the first level in B1 (B1 has 3 levels in the institute where I study)!!! This is strange for me, coz as far as I know, everywhere, each level from A1 to - C2 has only 2 sub-levels!!

Anyways, studding French is very amusing for me; I really love the language itself. In our case (A2) is enough for us.. But I prefer to study more and be in the safe side.
Then, later I might go for exam. Do you have any advices??!!

Thanks again, God bless,
Akram

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God
Good morning Akram,
We are still studying french too (me and my husband), i am the end of B1 and should pass B2, but i think i will stop here, as i have 1 year studying and i just did the TCF Oubec and obtained C1/B2.For sure i will keep practicing home.And the B1 has 5 levels not 3 !!!!! Where are u studying, at CCF??? u have B1.1; B1.2;B1.3;B1 pour parler & B1 en action. Its the same with B2. Is good u like studying, in the end we will need the french when we arrive there.I am romanian married with a lebanese, i speak romanian, spanish, arabic, english and now french.It was somehow hard at the beginning as they were all mixing in my head but french is so closed to my language at to spanish.
If u decide to take an exam take the TCF pour Quebec , is imple u have 2 exams only and are easy.Good luck !

I know we are all waiting and we have no more power studying french but now we have the time to get well prepared for our interview....I found an interesting article and i would like to share it with u, is a question they we are always asked WHY QUEBEC??

- Le taux élevé de la criminalité ;
- L’instabilité économique et politique ;
- Le revenu très faible comparativement au prix ;
- L’augmentation continue des prix pour les produits de la première nécessité ;
- Le taux de chômage très élevé et l’insuffisance des offres d’emploi ;
- L’insécurité vécue au quotidien, pour l’avenir et pour les perspectives de la progéniture ;

Bon chance! It is also an exercise for your french guys! :D

Hi Ricoluna, thanks for the notes u posted,

I didn't read it all ... I just went through it quickly ... but it seams interesting, I'll read it carefully later.. Thanks anyhow, :)

But regarding the French, where does it say that B1 or B2 is 5 levels?? Do u know any official website for the (French or Quebec) Government that says so or mention this information, or is it just the way they provide it in the center where u learn??

Another thing.... You said you are still studding in B1 .. But u achieved B2 in the TCF exam... was it easy like you say or what??
Do u think TCF easier than TEF?? What do u advise me with?
And do u feel that the "TCF pour Quebec" is better or easier than the normal "TCF"??

Wish u all the best,
Thanks again

Hello Akram,
I am studying French at Mission Culturelle Francaise, and is the same system all over the world.It can not be in Beyrouth like this and in other country different system, and they are the ones where u make all the exams: Delf,TEF,TCF...etc
I just finish the B1 yes, but i study hard at work, home,....so i am going to the center but after i was studying daily 3-4 hours...!
For what i understood from friends that went through TEF exam, i am sure TCF pour Quebec is easier, at the oral u have only 6 questions no time to think but u can answer them....in TEF u have subjects ( ex u read an announce u call and ask info, convince a friend to quit smoking.., enroll in an association..and u have to bring arguments, they are interrupting u and ask u more and more.....) TCF Quebec is not like this...
aa and each center at reception they have post a list with the levels, is from there that i know how are they grouped...
Have a nice day

Wish u all the best,
Thanks again

Hi guys, we are all waiting, i think they are changing something...no one knows what is happening.I have friends in Romania, they applied from Vienna office and also the embassy in Vienna has cancelled all interviews that were going to be held this summer.....for no reason!!! Also about what Medo says, i don't think the interviews will be held in Egypt, no way, look in their table :

Pays de résidence

Arabie Saoudite, Azerbaïdjan, Bahreïn, Chypre, Cisjordanie, Émirats arabes unis, Irak, Iran, Jordanie, Koweït, Liban, Oman, Qatar, Syrie, Turquie, Yémen files in study : all received before Juillet 20103
Égypte, Gaza, Soudan files in study : all received before Mars 2010

as we can remark they are not up to date with the files in Egypt they are still before March 2010, how they will take all the other countries??? Noo i don't think so
Anyways i think we will be late around 6 month more than the normal times :(

Hi,

My file is (was) being processed in Damascus and I'm wondering if someone can help me with the time delay in my case. I passed the interview and received my CSQ in April 2009 but did not apply for the immigration visa until April 2010. I sent them everything including all of the police certificates they asked for and I only have the medical tests to pass now. But it has been more than a year since they've received my completed file and I have yet to hear from them concerning the medical tests. I wrote them an email a month ago to ask about the time delay and all I got as an answer was that my file is being revised (votre dossier est en cours de revision).

Anyone know what that means?

Thanks.
