queation about open work permit

hi to everyone i would like to ask something about the open work permit . How you can get it .
i have already submit my aplication for pr through cec for me and my spouse. my spouse she aplied for open work permit and she get it.
my question is this . can i get and also open work permit because right iam working with lmo? because i ask some people and they said
to me that i cant because iam the principal aplicant. if anyone knows please to reply. and yes in the cic site when iam try to submit for open
work permit its give to me the option to apply.

If you:

- have received your AOR
- have 4 months or less on your current work permit

You can apply for an open work permit.
