Québec Selection Certificate Obtained : Passport Renewal

Hi,

I already obtained my Quebec Selection Certificate in Nov 2010.
I have also got Police Clearance Certificates.

At this stage, if I apply for the renewal of my passport, would there any problem because my new passport will have a different no. than that of the current one? (i.e. Are Selection Certificate and Police Clearance Certificates passport specific?)

i dont think so it would be a problem, cuz the old passport is attached with the new passport.
