QSW Program - Application submitted After August 1st 2013

Hello everyone,

I submitted a QSW application end of August 2013 (after announcing the new rules). Up till now, I didn't get any feedback from immigration and even the payment wasn't deducted from my credit card which is the method of payment used (related form was provided).

As per my calculations, I should get the following points:
-Education: 10
-Area of Training:0
-Work experience:8
-Age:16
-French: 5
-English:4
-Stay and Family in Quebec:0
-Spouse education:3
-Spouse area of training:2
-Spouse Age:3
-Children:8
-Financial Self-Sufficiency: 1

Total: 60 points

I appreciate if you can share your experience in that matter .. Just want to know how things are going with others? .

You'll going to have your AOR in few months time. Maybe there is a delay from CIC, it happened most of the time. Also if you have time check your local post office. Sometimes it is returned back if no one in the house during the time of delivery.

I've known someone just like you. But had his AOR last week only.

usually it takes 5-6 mos to get the AOR. HAve patience! For now enjoy your work so you'll not think of it a lot! Goodluck to all of us!

Sir i just notice that you haven't place points on your AOT. In that matter for my opinion it will take more time as usual to have your AOR as per immigration statement...

Order of priority for processing applications
Effective August 1, 2013, applications will be processed in the following order:

applications from candidates submitted under the Programme de l’expérience québécoise (Québec experience program);
applications from candidates who submit a valid employment offer;
applications from candidates who obtain points under the factor Area of training;
any other application submitted by permanent workers.
