is it necessary to rent a place before landing in Canada? or can we rent one after?because we should take into consideration lots of factors like being near to our work place or place safety other things that depends on our taste and situation,a friend or family could not rent the one exactly what we want.can we rent one after arriving in Canada? and can we inform immigration center right after to obtain PR card at that address?

Hi,

It'll not be wise to rent an accom before landing. Rightly said, there r lots of factors to consider.

But, u must definitely hire a 'short stay' accom before u come here. There r many options for that. Some of them r listed in my 'landing' thread.

thnx qorax,but what if i don't hire a place and stay in a hotel and while i'm there i can rent a place myself? does this idea make any problem while i am going to land by immigration officer?
