You need to inform the VO ASAP,send them an email telling them u had the baby. STOP WORRYING ,the vo will ask for baby`s birth certificate, visa bio page & pics & updated forms for u to fill. Take your wife to the DMP & get the Xrays done now to speed up the process. Cheers!! Best of luck!

does it need to take the medical of my baby?
Thanks for your reply.

Yes its a SILLY MEDICAL examination of the baby in which they just check the baby from head to toe to see for any anomalies,it lasts for maybe 1-2 minutes & the DMP jst fills the form & stamps & signs. That`s it! Dont worry about it.

Thank you very much.

Old Dream,

Here is what should be done:

1-Inform VO of the new born.
2-VO will request from you to send birth certificate, 150$ application fee, fill in some forms.
3-after you send the above, VO shall send you medical forms for your baby.
4-note that from medical point of view (as i came to know from DMP) wife should undergoes medical exams (specifically Urine test) 4-6 weeks after delivery as there will be still blood in Urine , thus no Urines test (part of MR's) shall be done during this period, after that she should be fine ingtak this test.

Hope that helped!!

Congratulations on your new born.

You and me are in a same boat, but I'm little bit ahead of you.

We did medicals without my wife's x-ray. We received the x-ray request after 4 weeks of delivery. In the meantime, we prepared our new born's passport and sent the photos, passport copy along with processing fee ($150). After sending these all documents, approx after 4 weeks, we received the medical for our new born. Last week, we did the medical for her as well and doctor sent the report to London.

So need not to worry. Just wait for additional medical for your wife. Get passport for your new born and send the documents to CHC and then start WAITING.....................

Wish you all the best

Thank for your reply.

My wife also did the medical except the x-ray.

Hi, Thanks all.
My question is: should I inform the VO by case-sepcific-enquiry(CSE) with the date of brith of our baby or just send a CSE that baby has born?
Thanks for your advice & reply again.

You should inform the date of birth of the baby & in the mean time get the baby`s passport made ASAP as it takes some time to get the passport made. As,the Vo will ask you for the baby`s passport copy.
