QORAX,1111 APPLICANTS WE WERE, WHAT SHOULD WE DO NOW???? WAIT? FOR HOW LONG????

Dear Qorax,
upon your vast experience, I am an Applicant under NOC 1111 in 2010 but got a rejection due to a silly reason. after waiting a painful year, My NOC 1111 still not included in New changes in this july,2011. its a very pathetic time that i am passing in my life and waiting for that day when my noc 1111 to be included in the list.
Boss, how long i have to wait for my dream country? how long...my dear sir?
is there any opportunity under the new list for me as an accountant? is there any scope? boss?

Please help me like other time.please help.

I think you have more chances by taking the Provincial Nominee Program. Get nominated by a province in Canada with your qualifications, then you'll have better chances. We may never know when NOC 1111 will open again..

Thanks to you dear friend to give such a way to see a dream for my dream country.
But so far I know, under PNP I may need my first blood relatives in Canada and after then I may qualify to apply.. is it right, dear Friend?
Please write to me soon.. I want to see the light of hope again..

In most Provinces in Canada their PNP requires blood relatives. In Manitoba, you only need to have friends who are willing to support you in your application. In Quebec, you only need to speak french, be under their priority list of occupations (which is a lot) and get the minimum points to qualify for CSQ..
 
If you can learn French my friend , go Quebec and make your dream come true.

If you want to go to your "dream country" and your occupation is not on the list, then your 2 options are Federal Skilled Worker Category 2 or Provincial Nomination

My advice is for you to obtain whatever travel visa is needed and try to get a 2/3 week holiday in Canada. Prior to going over you can then try to arrange interviews - be prepared to telephone companies because they tend to prefer direct contact on the phone rather than email, although email and online applications should be used as well.

If you can get a job offer then either you can apply for Provincial Nomination (in which case the province sponsors your residency) - but do check which skills are needed for the desired province, and they may have their own rules on qualifications and relatives etc. Provincial Nomination is not an area of expertise for me so perhaps others can comment on this more?


Or you can get the company offering you the job to apply for an LMO (Labour Market Opinion). For this they need to prove they have been advertising the job for 2 weeks during the past 3 months without a suitable Canadian being found for the post. Once they have an LMO you can then obtain a temporary work permit, and apply for residency under Federal Skilled Worker Category 2.

Either way is possible - it is just going to involve some investment of time and effort on your part.

Ok good luck :) I think the key to remember is pretty much you will need a job offer, and you won't get a job offer without travelling to Canada for face to face interviews. So plan carefully.

Which country are you from? Do you require a travel visa to enter Canada as a visitor? If so, then perhaps investigating this should be your first port of call. How long it will take to obtain it, how long you can get it for etc.

Also, are you married? Do you have family you are planning to take with you? If so it's still possible but once the employer gets the LMO for your job, you can flagpole (exit Canada at the US border and re-enter) to get the temporary work permit and obtain an open spousal work permit at the same time for your spouse (assuming you are married). This means your spouse can obtain any job in Canada of skill types 0, A or B without needing an LMO, as long as your LMO is active.

As I mentioned the provincial nomination route is also possible, this means the provincial government sponsoring your residency application so an LMO is not needed. I believe a job offer is still required.

Best of luck with your plans, and do not give up. It is all still possible it just involves a bit more work and time! :)
