QIIP: Increase in minimum Networth and Investment?

I came across this on this website but couldn't find it anywhere else to verify. Is there any truth in it?

Quebec Immigration Department has recently announced reformation plan. The result of whether the plan passes or not will be out on 31st January, 2017. If the reformation passes, there will be policy and requirement changes occur as the following:

1) Family assets increases from CAD 1,600,000 to CAD 2,000,000

2) Full amount investment increases from CAD 800,000 to CAD 1,200,000

3) Financing Investment increases from CAD 220,000 to CAD 300,000

Do you really want to invest such huge monies, IF yes then go for NEW BRUNSWICK Business PNP program, and this PNP going to end or renewed after 2018, current NBPNP is from 2013.

If you can wait for two years working inside canada in your own company (investment required - Minimum 150K), you can opt for MB or NS or BC PNP's. Direct PR programs are processed very slowly, they take nearly years. Even if you invest in QIIP, its gonna take years, Or you may end up with 'Nada' from CIC after waiting for a long time.

hi, i have the same question about the assets and investment amount, but as i know the amount is keep updating from time to time...
when i came across other website, the amount is different with above, i just curious the latest requirement and is it still open in Quebec?

Quebec program is currently on hold. The program is hugely problematic with most not actually remaining in Quebec even for 1 year so it is likely to be cancelled if not now, eventually.
