Which one are you talking about?

The one on the CIC website is accurate as long as your responses are accurate.

The answers are correct but i feel the questions themselves are not too precise,for example no question about me having kids or not?not detailed no of the no of years experience,no mentioningg of the profession,etx

Number of kids are irrelevant for CRS scores, as is your profession as long as it is in NOC 0, A or B.

For this tool, you have to sum up the years of experience yourself, whereas in the actual profile, it is done automatically based on you listing all your jobs. This is a potential source of discrepancy if you don't exactly understand how years of experience are calculated.

Also be aware that this tool only calculates your CRS score. It cannot make an assessment about whether or not you meet the eligibility criteria for the various immigration programs. You need to use the come to Canada tool for that.

My question is, number of years being asked is Canadian experience or Foreign experience because without filling that particular point, it is impossible to get above CRS point 400.

The question specifically is broken in two parts. The first is for Canadian experience and the second part is for Foreign experience.

How much you score among all the factors is also dependent on language skills and transferability factors which are a combination of your work experience and your language scores.

The assumption that it is not possible to cross 400 points is incorrect.

Impossible for me to calculate as I don't have your complete info. Age has a lot of points. So does transferability. You share the screenshot here and maybe I can pinpoint.

Your IELTS score is missing from this. What did you score in each section? In all likelihood, you need to improve your IELTS score to atleast 8 7 7 7 to get the maximum points for language and skill transferability.

My IELTS is L-7, S-7, W-6, R-6, Overall band score is 6.5.

Even if I get a good score in IELTS, it is not making a big difference. I tried putting put 7 for each band, still not crossing 400 mark.

High IELTS score is good for EE eligibility, I think.

You need to work on your IELTS scores and get to atleast 8 7 7 7 to be able to get the most points you can.

Per your current info, the 328 points that the CRS calculator is giving you appears correct.

I'm working on my IELTS.

I tried putting 8 7 7 7 and just crossed 400 mark, 410 to be precise. Considering the cut-off usually is around 450 or above, it is really difficult to get into the pool.

What do you suggest?
