Hello everyone I am in the process of reapplying for my TRV witch was refused a week ago du to PURPOSE of visit ONLY. I am reviewing stuck at a particular question witch is the reason of my visit. Shall I put tourism? Family visit? Or visit?

I am going my my wife and 2 kids to my mother in law to visit her and my sister in law and all my wife's family. I have already went 2 times to Canada but this time visa got refused. So being said that my refused visa was due to purpose of visit what should I check? We are going to spend time with my family in law and of course going out down town city mont real, to the mall etc.. Plz some feedback thank you all.

It is a family visit.

Thank you Jalex for the feedback

I have another question and would like everyones opinion : 1-is a family visit a fair enough reason to visit canada and a good enough one for them to give me a visitor visa? I have already been twice to canada but now the third time they refused it.

2-Should I write in my itinerary day by day plans ex: visiting aunt X, going to the park with the kids, going to have lunch at x restaurant. I am quite confused on how I should describe my itinerary because it is basically a vacation to spend with my family in law and spend quality time with them.

Yes, perfectly fine.

No, you do not need that level of detail, but it wouldn't harm if you did.

Hello,

If I am planning to visit Canada with my boyfriend (he is a Canadian PR though we are both based in the Philippines), what should I choose for the form as well as in the eligibility part of the application on the website? Tourism? Visit? Visit with family/friends?

I’m not sure if different requirements are indicated for these. We will be staying with his parents and meeting some of his friends. But it’s mostly to go around and see his hometown and the nearby city. Any help please? And thank you.
