Can you share your timeline? My mother did her medical and has biometrics soon, wondering if the interview is waived.
you can see my timeline in signatures. interview is rarely waived imo. they will probably do interview later.

did you got approval of sponsorship first you have to get approval and your file should be transfered to ankara visa office i passed all that steps 11 months ago still i didn't got any update they're dealing cases from 2023 we should wait it will take time eventually we will get there
There are long backlogs and Canada has reduced their yearly quotas for refugees so processing will take years for most people. There will also be long periods of time when nothing changes with your application. Most of the processing time for most application is spent in a queue waiting for the next step.
Realistically it could take ~5 years to process given Canada is decreasing the number of accepted applications per year. If you have other options I would also be considering those. Depending on you age and profile learning French may be a good idea
I talked to a family they had interview last month in Ankara
She told me they're inviting many family applications and there was a big crowd in line for interviews in Canada embassy
IRCC often does interviews in batches. This can be due to having staff fly in to be part of the interview process/reviews. They may be interviewing all the candidates for a year or even longer during a specific period of time from days to a week+.
