have applied in 15 of march 2022 and haven't heard anything back yet. people saying it's taking 6-8 weeks. Anybody have same situation like me? Please reply..thank you

It's too variable depending on location and situation to say.

Straightforward cases (esp those where no issue with resdiency obligation) may indeed be processed in timeframe mentioned - but not always.

Those with serious non-compliance i.e. where H&C determination is required typically take longer.

My lawyer sent all documents to ircc mailing address.. she was in canada. Still no response..

Not in all locations and especially not if you haven’t met your RO. Can take 6+ months if it is a PRTD based on H&C.
