Dear Friends,

I have received letter from Immigration office stating that "YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN PROVISIONALLY ACCEPTED" and asked for the following documents;
1. Updated application forms
2. updated proof of funds (Can $ 22,831) in the form of bank statement only
3. original police certifice

My question is that I do not have Can $ 22,831 in my account, I have only US $ 5,000 in my account. Can I show them jewelry, car or the amount that I will get when I will quit my job.

Saleem mate, you have to show Can $ 22,831 in your account now. Nothing else will serve the purpose now. Don't let them disqualify you on financial grounds. Good luck.

Not sure how to respond to your question - just an analogy though (no offence meant)
Is it okay if CIC issues visa to some one else in your name? If you show some one else's statement, he would be eligible; not you...
