Hello,

My wife's multiple entry TRV is valid for a few more months (Feb. 2022, same as passport expiry).
We applied for and have received her new passport.
We were planning a trip for May 2022 and wanted to know if it would be ok to apply for a new visa while the previous one is still valid?

Also, while looking at the document checklist, it states the following with regards to prior travel to Canada.
"If you have travelled to Canada or to the United States in the last ten (10) years and can provide proof (entry stamps in passport), no proof of financial support is needed."
We were in Canada for a few months earlier this year (her only visit to Canada, never been to USA) but there were no entry or exit stamps on her passport. Is it strictly stamps or would her visa, ticket bookings, boarding passes etc suffice?

Yes it is possible to apply for a new TRV before your current one expires.
