rvssrajesh have you actually tried to create EE profile? or you're just ineligible on Come to Canada tool?
the thing is, CtC told me I'm ineligible when I was creating my profile. why, I have no idea because my ielts results are 8 overall.
what's your NOC CODE?
well, I created my profile and of course I'm eligible under FSW.

gill5, I'm sorry but I can't do that because mail was sent directly to me, cic agent requested my e mail address specifically.
call them (or have someone in Canada do that for you).

hi La_LuNa

I just tried it on 'come to canada' tool and found the result as 'ineligible '.
I come under 2173 NOC code with 4 years of experience.. So do you think I can directly apply without checking on the tool???

Thanks

As you may already know, those of us who have nomination and apply for EE, we are not awarded immediately with 600 points, province has to confirm our nomination to CIC directly with our EE file number we provide to province...

I'm a MPNP nominee, I've sen't them e mail explainig what they have to do, I actually attached exact .pdf I got from CIC with my file number.

they replied with this:

"Hello,
Since you were nominated by MPNP in 2014, we are not able to recommend you for the Express Entry program. You should still apply for permanent residency through the standard process.
Thank you,
Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program"

What?!?!!? :o
that's not how it's supposed to work, right?
I think they got it all wrong, I think they believe they can only confirm 500 people per year - but those are the candidates province will pick directly from pool of candidates, right?

please, does anybody have any advice?
are there other Province Nominees here who applied through EE?? what's your experience?

Many members in this forum are reporting that they are NOT receiving their additional 600 points, when they submit their express entry profile using their EXISTING provincial nominations.

Is anyone of them still got entry in to express entry pool(and therefore participating in the first draw) just with their base points?

Does anybody has updates regarding this topic? Can we expect changes related status of current PNP nominations 2014?

I just created my EE profile.. it doesn't actually tell you how many points you have after filling everything in does it...? so how do people know they are not getting their 600 points?

I input my OPNP details in the questionaire as requested (did not ask much details just yes or no and from which province)... did not ask for cert number, expiry or to authenticate in any way...

Maybe I am missing something or filled it up wrongly, but it seemed quite straight forward to me...

You have to go untill the end and submit your file. Your score will show and you will be able to see if you really got 600 points.

hi all
need some suggestions regarding the express entry program..
as I had low scores of L,W,R- 6 and S- 6.5, I tried to check the eligibility foe EE program
and it shows ineligible. I think ielts is the only reason of my profile to be ineligible.
I dont even have an option of re-taking ielts until march as the dates got closed.
I think I only have an option of applying PNP, else will it still be possible under FSWP?? So would it be recommended as of now with my profile:

age: 26
exp: 4-5 years non-canadian
canadian work exp: no
enough of funds
Eca of bachelor degree under process, expecting by this month end
marital status- single

So is it better going with pnp program or better that I retake the test..
response appreciated. Thanks

You did not complete ECA, do it, and u r eligible

thanks desertfox for the response.
But I came to know some thing which am unaware until yesterday.
According to the new point system am sure that I am eligible, but the old 67 point criteria has to be met as well it seems for FSWp.
I want to know if it is true because I don't meet the criteria as I will be 4 points short.
According to the new point-based system, am getting 354 points. So in order to apply for FSWP should I meet both..

Thanks again...

anybody got feedback from CIC?

I completed my profile this past weekend but my Nomination status is marked as pending,

Any1 else encountered this?
Also how long would it take CIC to confirm the nomination?

I have no idea how many points I have as my application is still marked as ineligible.

As I understood, nominations recieved in 2014 is NOT applicable to EE unfortunatelly.

however in my EE profile is still marked that I have nomination. How do you think, should I update my profile with changind my answer about nomination?

Never the less overall status of my profile is open, so I believe that it will take a part in draw...

...but somewere inside I believe that province can still approve my nomination... ;D

PNP QUESTION - I AM CONFUSED

I have 441 Point / 1200
I have made Profile and have Job Bank Code
NOC: 2173

As per my understanding Employer Job Offer is required in BC and ALBERTA for applying for PNP. I could only find Sask- which is not putting up this condition.
Where can I apply without Employer Job Offer ??

Some of us contacted CIC regarding pnp, in my case they told me I should get 600 pt and gave me link on a form I've submitted.
I was wandering if CIC answered on someones form??

nope, mine e mail said 10 working days.. I think, since this is EE related question and EE is fresh, they treat this as a technical issue, and for technical queries timeline is 10 days ;)

The answer I got from CIC is that I should be eligible for the 600 points, however when I contacted the AINP office I was informed that I am under the old system and am not eligible for Express Entry. It seems the provinces and the federal government can't seem to agree on things.

Would you be able to share the link for the form that you received from CIC?

Thanx!!!
