Provincial Interest Letter from Nova Scotia

Hi,
I've received the provincial/territorial interest letter from Nova Scotia (NOC 1111). To submit the application for Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities, there's a requirement to provide the pdf format of provincial/territorial interest letter which came on my express entry profile. Please guide us on how to do the pdf file as I'm unable to make it as a pdf!

Should I need to contact Nova Scotia by email to get a pdf file for the same? Please advise.

Do you meet their draw-specific eligibility requirement of 5 years' experience in NOC 1111? I received the letter of interest however, I had 3 years' of NOC 1111 and rest of 4 years' is for NOC 1112. This is because I have no idea where does my current job experience fall due to its different title. Now I don't know whether I should still apply as I don't really meet the criteria atleast according to my current profile.

Hi, I too received the letter of interest!

To get a PDF version, I copied the text into a word document, then saved it as a PDF document. I don't see any other viable option.

I sent an email 2 days ago and received the following response today:

"Good day,


Thank you for your interest in the Labour Market Priorities Stream.


If you have received a Letter of Interest (LOI) through your IRCC online account, you must submit a complete online application to the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration (NSOI) within 30 calendar days of the date on which your letter of interest was issued.


The next step in the application process is to compile all necessary supporting documentation as outlined in the application guide. You can access the guide through this link: https://novascotiaimmigration.com/wp-content/uploads/AppGuide-NSNP-LMP-English.pdf. Page 8 of the guide includes a document checklist.


To submit your complete application, select the “Apply Online” button at the bottom of the following webpage: https://novascotiaimmigration.com/move-here/labour-market-priorities/.


Once you have submitted a complete application, it will be assigned to an Officer for review. They will contact you if they have any further questions.

Did you get clarification on this? Do you current responsibilities/duties (regardless of your title) match those noted for NOC 1111? If yes, then you should be able to apply.

As per the details in Nova Scotia LOI - experience letter should also contain annual salary + benefits. My letters of reference from previous employers do not mention the annual salary. Should I request them again for the updated letters which will be current dated then? Also will the amount of salary (min. or max.) impact on the decision process on my application?

Does it include any salary information at all e.g. monthly? If yes, then I believe that should suffice as it would involve a simple calculation to determine the annual salary.

No information about salary is included. Normally the information about salaries and benefits is not mentioned on the experience letters. Should I request the previous employer to give me an updated version?

Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) 7 is equivalent to IELTS band 6 in all parts (reading, listening, writing and speaking). For LOI Nova Scotia, the criteria is at least CLB 7 or higher. Your IELTS scores meet the requirement.
