So again, my husband is American still working and residing in the U.S. I am Canadian, living here in Canada, HE is going to immigrate here to Canada. In his Immigration paperwork (I forget what form), it indicates that he must send proof of our time spent together(bus ticket/plane ticket etc.) We do all our border crossings by land by car, no tickets, no passport stamps. The only proof that I can think of obtaining is a record of our U.S. to Canada and vise versa land crossings to show the "overlap" for BOTH of us. Last time we entered Canada together we asked the officer if we could go into the office and make this enquiry. We ask the officer (on the immig. side) if we can obtain a record of our crossings, I am there with MY I.D. requesting MY OWN information and HE is there with HIS I.D. requesting HIS OWN information and we are told they can't accommodate our request because of Access to information and Privacy Act and we are provided with forms to make this request from the Attorney Generals' Office. I send away the request for BOTH of us and I am notified by the AG'S office that they can't accommodate our request, they DON'T have this information. You can't tell me that they can't provide this at the border crossing, I KNOW they have records on this. Any idea where I can get this info......what if we don't have concrete proof of our time spent together (3-4 days once per month), I'm hoping that if we can't provide this evidence, our OTHER evidence (photos etc.) will be proof enough of the relationship. Thanks for your input, can't wait to get this thing done.

That kind of data may only be temporarily stored in CBSA's data base. They would use it to cross reference people and/or vehicles that have been red flagged for some reason.

Gas receipts and other purchases made by credit card and photos together time stamped would certainly help to establish a time line. If you have communicated through Skype, Facebook, Yahoo etc you can print out the record of your conversations.
