Proof of ties back home

I need some help.

This question if on behalf of my uncle.

He has a son back home - the son was left with his mother. (bore child out of wedlock)
When he came to Canada he didn't declare his son on his application

fast forward a few years.

His sons mother has passed away and he has been living with aunts and uncles.

How can His father sponsor him to come to Canada as he is passed the age of dependence (23 yrs)

he can't show proof of back home
-no home under has name
-no job
-at the moment he isn't in school

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Can we use that as ties to back home and apply for a visitor visa?

He can certainly try.

When he applies for the TRV he should request a short visit (2-3 weeks maximum).

If the TRV is approved, keep in mind that all this will allow him to do is visit Canada temporarily. He cannot live here or work here or attend school here as a visitor.

And as has been explained, his father cannot sponsor him.
