My wife is an American citizen living here in Canada with me on a visitor visa. On her most recent visitor visa it says that we must provide proof of our sponsorship application to be able to get an extension on her visitor status. (We would like her to remain in Canada throughout the sponsorship process.)
What is the best way to prove this on her visitor record extension? If I upload a scan of the receipt of payment for the sponsorship is that enough? We are just about to send in our sponsorship application. Should I drop it off in person? Do they give me some sort of verification code if I were to do this?
