Proof of Settlement funds

Dear All,
With help of you all guys I am in final stages to apply for Express Entry. I am confused on my settlement funds.

We have been given full required money in form of treasury bills from father in law and we have converted them into my wife name.

Kindly let me know what documentation should I prepare to support that these are readily available and are own rather loan.

Kindly let me know what documentation should I prepare to support that these are readily available and are own rather loan.

You would need a letter from your financial institution which states all the required information as per CIC guidelines. Also they must state that these funds can be liquidated at any time upon will. And since it is a recent transfer of a big sum, you would need gift deed as well
