Hi, I want to apply for an PR and I'm worried about my marital status.I am separated from my husband for about an year now but I cannot apply for divorce now Since I am need to be in India to apply or initiate. I understand that if I say my marital status as Married I need to submit his medical and other Proofs for which he would not be co-operative. I can provide an affidavit stating that I am separated and I will not be sponsoring my husband. But is there anything else I can do. Will cic consider the affidavit of separation alone or will they ask me for anything more ?Can someone help me on this or provide me more information on this.Appreciate any help
