Hi,
My application for skilled worker permanent residence is currently being reviewed. Yesterday they updated it and requested that I include Proof of Separation and/or declaration of severance of a common law relationship.
The relationship was for about 6 years and ended over 3 years ago. My ex partner lives in Australia while I live in Canada. My question is, is a declaration (letter) signed by a commissioner of declarations satisfactory as proof? I would include date it ended, name, that is has ended etc. I also considered including my Canadian tax return noting me as single as part of the declaration.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
