I have mentioned about my aunt pre ITA but its getting cumbersome to collect all the proofs. Should i include my aunt's old indian passport for my granfather's name or just simply modify family information to get rid of this extra documentation completely. please suggest.

I believe that the questionnaire says: "This includes any parent, spouse or common-law partner, any child including adult children, and any brothers and sisters". Hence, I don't think I would include aunts and uncles in the actual application. This is my opinion only tho, not backed by any experience at all.
