Guys,

I have a problem, when i applied to the CIC, i mentioned my wife's aunt in the application as a canadian relative, and i have no problem with the proof of relationship.

But the main problem is the proof of residency, i cannot proof her reesidency as she is travelling a lot with her husband and i cannot catch her at all, am trying to contact her for 3 months now and i cannot catch her.

Just for you information she is 67 years old, do you think the the visa office will accept this point, as if they reject it i'll be less than 67 and they will refuse my case

And for your information in my visa office check list, they didn't mention the proof of residency, they just ask for proof of relationship and proof of citizenship.

Do you think it will works? !!!!!!!!!!

Please help am really worry

Even if it is not categorically written, you must prove your relative is in Canada. The idea is they help you in adaptibility. The new list is out, if rejected it might be very difficult for you to apply again. it is strange that you cannot get hold of your wifes aunt for 3 months now. the only solution is, get hold of her, call her, e-mail or whatever it takes,. you need from her proff that she is in Canada, even if she travels frequently. Credit card statements, utility bills, pay slips or anything to prove that she is thier; I dont think there is any other way out.

If you are able to produce telephone or other utitlity bills, tax returns and citizen ship card copy, that would be fine

Can someone tell me what all is required for Proof of relationship ? What all should I ask my relative to give me so that I can produce it ? How I can prove that person in Canada and myself are related?

Seniors, please help !!!!!!

Simple, you can prove the person (say your first cousin from your father's side) and yourself by producing the following:
1) Birth certificate of yourself and your dad
2) Birth certificate of your first cousin and his dad/mother which the grandfather/grandmother is the same person

Hello ,
Only income tax returns are accepted and utility bills are not given any due consideration .
The most important point is that the sponser should be present in Canada while maintianing all her income tax returns .
I will send u the exact points which qualiy to become a sponser . The letter having all that is in India . So please expect it by next month .It will give u a good in sight ,

Regards
