Proof of Permenant residence

My confirmation of landing Document and my PR are Expired and i am requested to submit a valid proof of my status in Canada to enter university.. is there any other document that i can submit for this purpose?

Your Confirmation of Permanent Residence document is proof of your status. They don't expire.

You say that yours has expired. This sounds very odd. I am looking at one now and there is a line that says "valid until: date x xx ", however this is referring to the expiration of the passport that was used at landing.

The university administration looks at it and requires a document with a valid date on it. i Explained to them what you told me but it does not seem convincing to them. is there any other document i can get to prove that i am a permanent residence. card renewal will take a long time.

Your landing documents does not expire its the passport u were using to land as you were told above. Its rather weird why the university wont accept it.
