i got invitation for express entry and i have balance of 7000$. i mentioned 12500$ into my application.
does it have to have 12500$? i have full time permanent job.
what if i can arrange 5500$ from someone else and show it to my account.

I believe applicants who have job offer letter/current job in Canada, do not have to meet fund criteria.
You don't need to show CAD $ 12500.

Even if you must have to show funds, don't borrow it. The funds must be yours, (or gifted from your parents)
You can sell your car/gold/property in your name to acquire the fund, but you can't borrow it.

are you invited under CEC?

If you have been invited under CEC, you dont need to show funds and you have nothing to worry about.

Only LMIA jobs are exempt from PoF.

If you mentioned, $12,500 when creating your account and you cant prove it now, it means there was misrepresentation and it would amount to rejection. You cant borrow the funds. You would have to raise funds through a gift or by selling assets.
