Proof of funds

Hey all,
Do i need to disclose all of my loans and credit cards, I want to but the thing is I am dealing with three banks one savings account (i have a substantial amount there saved over 5 yrs). Salary account and that has negligible amounts its mostly used to pay for my credit card and the loan i have from a third bank. Now this amount covers the whole loan and credit card easily but I preferred to take loan as buying car in cash isnt really a wise idea. So do i just need to show my salary account, savings account and declare only my credit card as the loan is from a bank that I have no other deal with only the loan from them.

Hello mates,

My wife and I are applying for express entry. I will be the main applicant and the required funds are under my account. Do we have to do anything to prove that I am willing to share the funds with my wife which is the secondary applicant ?

Hey i am not really an expert on the matter but from what I read, you have to have a joint account with your wifes name on it. This account must have the min. amount of funds to support both of you.

I have a query regarding the funds
My scenario.
I have an amount X in bankacc a which is on my name for 6 months.I am the primary applicant. I opened the joined account with my spouse in bank B and I transferred the same amount to our joint account 2 month back. So my amount X is in bank A for 6 months and in bank B for like 3 months now.
The remain amount will be transferred to bank B as a gift deed.
My question is will this be accepted
1)if I get a letter from both the banks telli g the amount and number of months it was in the respective account
2) Can I get the amount in my joint account out and then ask my dad to put the complete $16000 as a single gift deef amount to my joint account?
3)is it compulsory that the amount should be in joint account for 6 months.!?

Hi. Me and my husband are applying for express entry. My husband will be the primary applicant and we are showing his account for Proof of Funds.
My question is do we need the balance in this account as of today (when we are just creating the profile for express entry) or is it okay if we arrange the balance later before submitting the documents after ITA?

Hi,

I recently received nomination from Alberta and received ITA now.

So for proof of funds, I have balance of around 9k and gathered the rest 4k from different friends (mine only. I have given them previously and now they repaid me ) I received this 4k in december 1 st week. So technically my average funds fall below 13k per month. Also, I have read somewhere that the funds should be in our account for atleast 3 months. Since I don't have that, what should I do?? Or is it okay to submit a statement like this??
