Hi friends,

I submitted the application for permanent residency showing the proof of funds as savings account and letter from the bank. Now is there an option to change that money into fixed deposit since FD it will give me double the interest, as you all know. Kindly help me with your valuable suggestions.

Did you get PR? If not, then as per CIC website, you should have sufficient funds in your account until you land.

Did you get PR? If not, then as per CIC website, you should have sufficient funds in your account until you land.

No, I've not got PR, just submitted the application. I definitely will maintain the sufficient funds all time, but just want to convert the money in savings account to fixed deposit in my bank account so as to get better interest rates.
