I am the principal applicant but funds are in my husband's bank account. He will be accompanying me to Canada. How can I show that the funds in my husband's account are accessible to me whenever required so that we don't have to open a joint account at last moment?

Get a signed letter from your husband about the same.

Hello,

My wife is the primary applicant for PR. For POF, me and wife have an FD in our joint account. I am the 1st applicant in the joint account. But my wife has all the rights to handle the account just like me. Guess it should not be a problem even if I am the 1st applicant for the bank account. We have anyways applied for PR with AOR 11 April, 2018.
