If i am the primary applicant and my wife is secondary applicant. Is it possible to declare 50% of the funds in my saving account and remaining 50% on my wife's saving account.

Anybody who has faced such scenario???

is any kind of affidavit required to prove that her funds are available to me or any thing like that.

i am asking this because my agent asked me to transfer amount into my account in terms of gift deed, which is not required as far as i know. please confirm?

Not required at all. If wife is accompanying you then you can use her funds.

1. Any joint accnt/savings with a person who is accompanying you: ALLOWED
2. Any funds in the name of accompanying person: ALLOWED
3. Any funds jointly held by a non-accompanying person: NOT ALLOWED

Yes I have done this. 20% of the funds shown are exclusively under my wife's name. Rest 80% is jointly held

No. Have applied for it a month back though. But this was confirmed by CIC. A guy had emailed CIC with details of acceptable pof and they emailed stating funds under accompanying spouse can be used (shouldnt be joined with non-accompanying person)

Hello,

I just received my ITA. For my POF, i have about 67% in Treasury Bills and the remaining in my pension account (RSA). is that ok? i keep getting different opinions on this.

Hi

In the express entry application, I had declared funds as CAD 30k. However only ~ CAD 15.5k are mandatory. Is it possible to change the amount no win the PR application? Or do we need to the stick to the same amount declared in the pre ITA application?

Thanks in advance!

as long as you are accompanying her it wont be a problem. But just make sure the funds arent jointly held by any non-accompanying person

Not very sure about these. But according to my understanding as long as anything can be readily withdrawn (liquid nature) and isnt subject to any market risks (like mutual funds and stocks) it should be good
