Hello,

I have applied to a university in Canada and got accepted. The offer letter says that nearly 47,000$ of funding will be provided to me (split into scholarships, graduate research studentship and TA salary). However, it also says that eligibility for that funding is contingent on maintaining full time registration and good academic standing.

I would like to use this letter as proof of funding (since the amount is more than enough), but the mentioned constraint makes me unsure whether it will be accepted by the IRCC.
Using the letter only would save a lot of work (like bank statements, translations, affidavits), so, also because of extremely long processing times, I would prefer to use the letter as the only proof.

Any experience or thoughts on whether that would be sufficient? Or maybe at least less money needs to be proven when used together with the offer letter?

Thanks!

You need to still show proof of funds by yourself, even with funding as funding is not guaranteed.

I think you still have to show your own proof of funding. Looking at the CONDITION (CLAUSE) of the funding, if your don't show your own fund, VO might think what if you don't meet the condition for the funding, how then will you be able to continue your education. So, please try and show that even without the scholarship, you can fund your education still.
