Dear Friends,

I have two accounts; one saving and other salary. I maintained more than $15000 CAD in my saving account but have a debt of $40000 for salary account which I am paying to bank as monthly installments. For the CIC purposes, do I need to show both the accounts statements for last 6 months or I can just show saving account with over $ 15000 CAD balance?

Also, does CIC considers property papers as a proof of funds?

Appreciate your help!

Do you know if property certificate / valuation can be shown against the debts? e.g. for a scenario like this:

Amount Available in multiple accounts+FD: 12K CAD
Fund Required: 10K CAD

Looking above it looks that it satisfies the criteria.

Now if

Debts (Loan, Credit Card):10K
Value of Property, Car etc: 10K

then can the debts be nullified against the property value?

I heard property papers are not considered as proof of funds.... I think this is due to its liquidity.

But this subject is not clear!... better to call CIC and ask them about it.
